Jon Lopez
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Combined with his huge entrepreneurial spirit, Jon has an extensive background in building, construction, and project management.
After successfully leading the development of a “glamping” project off the Manhattan coast on Governor’s Island, he decided to venture off on a 5-month road trip from Banff to Baja. His intention was to find a new, challenging project he could claim as his own. Thus, Kit Carson Farms was born!
Outside of Kit Carson Farms, Jon loves playing with Charlie, rock climbing, traveling, spending time with his niece & nephew, and working with his hands on any multitude of projects around the house or farm.
Dan Rex
Chief Operations Officer
Dan also has an entrepreneurial spirit and has helped build Kit Carson Farms from Day 1. He helps with a multitude of things around the farm and takes charge of the health and growth of the hemp plants. His passion for the plants is obvious in the care he puts in and the effort he puts towards expanding his knowledge of growing.
Outside of Kit Carson Farms, Dan loves rock climbing, hiking (completed the AT in 2012!), and is studying to become an Occupational Therapist.
Ali Fifer
Chief Financial Officer & Marketing
Ali loves inspiring others to live happy, healthy lives, and is passionate about the role hemp and plant medicine plays here.
Her marketing background and tech skills come from developing her online holistic nutrition business - Rooted Wellness, as well as working for tech companies.
Outside of Kit Carson Farms, you can find her taking Charlie for hikes & trail runs, rock climbing, practicing yoga, reading, or working with her nutrition clients.
Charlie
Head of People & Culture, Security
Charlie is in charge of keeping morale high and making sure we take appropriate breaks for fun. He’s also head of security, alerting us at all hours of any potential threats.
Sometimes he even helps dig trenches & keeps the grasshoppers at bay in the outdoor field.
When he’s not hard at work, you can find him chasing the farm cats around or basking in the Sun.
